Sensible Transfers : PSG
Sensible Transfers : PSG
Paris Saint Germain have a had a season of ups and downs as even though they thrashed Barcelona 4-1 away, they sit 3rd in the Ligue 1, which by their standards domestically, simply isn't good enough. They have been below their expectations and injuries of crucial players such as Neymar and Di Maria has been well noticed in their games. Here are a few areas thats Poch's side need to strengthen in order to dominate domestically and internationally.
The CAM Reunion
Best Option) Dele Alli
Paris have one of the worlds best attack force which includes the likes of Mbappe, Di Maria, Neymar, Kean, etc. and they have managed to average 2.2 goals per match in the french league, but this number will shoot up exponentially if they were to have an attacking midfielder who could string passes in the final third for the forwards ahead. Dele Alli would be the best option here as he has already been a star man under the current PSG coach and wouldn't have a problem adjusting to the tactics and game plan. The 24 year old has only recently been integrated back to the spurs 11 and has performed brilliantly in the Europa League having scored twice and assisted thrice in his 4 appearances out of which he was subbed on for 2. There is no doubt that the Spurs player has had his fall outs with Mourinho and would prefer working with his old boss in a team which would see him get more game time. Alli would cost the French an approximate of 50 million euros and is a transfer which PSG should make as their priority.
The Fullback
Best Option) Lucas Digne
Lucas Digne would be the perfect fit to the attacking style and high line press which PSG play. The left back has contributed 8 assists in 26 appearances for Everton this season which is far better than PSG's left back Kurzawa who has an assist in 23 appearances. The Man from Everton even trumps Kurzawa defensively averaging 2.3 tackles per game, 1.1 interceptions and 2.2 clearances per game compared to Kurzawa's 1.8 tackles per game, 1.4 interceptions and 1.2 clearances per game. The left back has been inform and will cost a hefty fee of around 40-45 million but is surely worth every million as he will contribute in both halves of the field and will help PSG return back in form.
Signing Moise Kean Permanently
The 20 year old man from Italy has been phenomenal for PSG this season having already scored 14 goals and assisted 1 this season in 21 games which is 0.71 g/a per 90. Kean has stepped up in a time where PSG are suffering from injuries of their star player such as Di Maria and Neymar. The sad news is that he is on loan from Everton with no option to buy inserted in the deal as of yet, and seeing him perform brilliantly at only 20 years of age, Everton would most likely want to hold on to their player, however if PSG make a generous offer of 50 million upwards, Everton may consider their offer.
