Targets to Acquire : Leeds United

Image
Leeds United have had quite the season, especially for a newly-promoted side. They are unbeaten at home against the big 6 and certainly put up a show every game. Leeds have proven that they’re here to stay, but they need a few signings to compete for Europe. In this article, we’ll be covering the areas they need to improve and who would be the feasible options. Position: Central Attacking Midfielder (CAM) Leeds need to integrate an energetic CAM into the team. They are heavily dependent on creation from the flanks by Raphinha and Jack Harrison. Pablo Hernández, although a legend to the team, might not have the stamina and fitness to fit into Bielsa’s team anymore, having also sat out most of the season anyway. Leeds need a bit more of Brazillian Magic to compete for Europe. Targets to Acquire: Matheus Pereira Matheus Pereira has arguably been one of the best players of the newly relegated side, West Bromwich Albion. While only considering base stats, He has 17 g/a ( 11 goals and ...

Targets to Acquire : Arsenal

Targets to Acquire : Arsenal Arsenal have had a better second half of the season, but it still isn't good enough. For competing in the top 4, major changes needs to be made. A few major signings and sellings need to be made in order for a proper rebuild to take place. In this article, I'll be covering upon 3 major signings which need to be made during the summer of 2021. Now these signings may be a bit unrealistic but some frequent rumours may suggest a slight chance of them taking place.  Position : Right Back (RB) A player in this position should be a priority signing for Arsenal. Considering the form Hector Bellerin has been and the rumours which suggest his exit, they really need to dive into the market and bring in a new signing. Cedric is always an option but should remain as the backup right back and considering Callum Chambers injury prone state and lack of game time, I would still suggest for the Gunners to look outside of their own club for this one. Target : Tariq La...

Next Best Arsenal Manager

Image
Next Best Arsenal Manager Arsenal have truly had one of the worst falls from grace. A club that once used to be a regular top 4 competitor is now struggling to get into a European spot. Mikel Arteta, current manager, has had a questionable season and a half. His job isn’t under scrutiny currently but his time is running out. Arsenal should consider this candidate as their best option to have a shot at returning to their Glory days. Graham Potter ( Brighton ) Graham Potter has caught the eye of the media in recent times due to how his side Brighton & Hove Albion play. His team is known for underperforming xG massively, creating tons of chances, and also setting up very well defensively. Defensively: Graham Potter is usually known for his attacking football but his defensive methods often go unnoticed. This season only Man City (25.7) and Chelsea (27.9) have conceded fewer quality chances than Brighton (33.2). For a team that sits 17th in the table, they have only conce...

Has Timo Werner been a good signing for Chelsea?

Image
Timo Werner : Player Analysis  It has almost been a year since Timo Werner signed for Chelsea from RB Leipzig, and there have definitely been some mixed opinions on his first season performances. In this short article,  I'll be covering up on his strengths and weakness and come to a personal conclusion on Timo's Performances. Strengths :  1) Statistics : Timo Werner has 29 goal contributions in his first year at Chelsea ( 18 goals, 11 assists ). He is the first Chelsea player to reach double figures in both goals and assists after Hazard. He has also stepped up for his side in the Champions League where he has 6 goal contributions in 9 games. Although, he does have more assists (8) than goals (6) in the premier league, which is a weird statistic to have for a striker. 2) Versatility : Timo Werner is not your average striker. Like Mbappé, He has also been deployed at all the three attacking positions ( LW, ST AND RW ) where he has genuinely played in the centre or on...

Man City vs PSG CL Second Leg Recap May 4, 2021 Aayush Rajput Manchester City vs PSG (2-0) was a spectacular game to watch (unless you support PSG). City finally broke their Champions League curse and reach the final. They were holding a 2-1 lead coming into this  game . The strange thing is that PSG got off to a better start, but Man City reaped rewards. PSG certainly missed their superstar  Kylian Mbappé , as even though they had 14 shots, none of them were on target. In this article, we’ll be discussing key performances, the man of the match and what PSG need to do to have a shot at the CL (in brief). To see how we expect City to finish their season click  here . Man City: Defence & Midfield Manchester City players were absolutely exceptional tonight. Every player played their part in the victory and they were absolutely top-notch. Firstly, we have to appreciate that wonderful ball sent by  Ederson . His pass was crucial to the build-up of the first goa...
