England vs Scotland (0-0) didn’t exactly live up to the hype but it was certainly a well fought match. Kieran Tierney returned to Scotland’s first 11 and we also saw the integration of Luke Shaw and Reece James in the England side. Both teams were quite evenly matched and none of them looked like they were going to grab the winner. Despite England’s quality, Scotland put them on the backfoot and tried to go for the win. Three Lions, Zero Creativity England looked quite dull and uncreative while going forward. If only they had a player who could create chances out of nothing and give them an edge. Starting Luke Shaw and Reece James did work out as they were good and played their part. Harry Kane has not looked himself in the initial games of the group stage.
