Sensible Transfers : Manchester City

Sensible Transfers : Manchester City

Manchester City have had quite the season, they sit 11 points clears in the Premier League and are 2-0 up on away goals against Borussia Mönchengladbach in the round of 16 in the champions league. They recently faced a blip of a performance against their neighbours, Manchester United, who went on to end their 21 premier league win streak. Even though the defeat was an anomaly, it showed which was the last piece required to complete Peps Puzzle.

The Goal Machine

Best Option : Harry Kane

Harry Kane has been absolutely phenomenal this season having scored 16 goals and provided 13 assists in just 25 premier league matches, averaging 1.12 g/a per game. In such form, he may go on to win the premier league golden boot, the premier league playmaker and the premier league goal of the season. Being almost 28, he has started to approach his prime and would be the ideal buy for city as they seem to lack a complete striker on the playing field, (having Aguero either sidelined or injured) most of their goal contribution is heavily produced by midfielder and wingers. Playing for a rival top club and already having a market value 120 million euros, he would cost them a whopping 140-150 million euros and would be the best buy for Manchester City.
